New woman-owned business in St. Louis empowers girls with mythology-inspired dolls

ST. LOUIS — A local, woman-owned business took center stage this week as Oz Creations, LLC appeared for a live interview to introduce its newly launched Olympia Doll and Story Collection — a unique, mythology-inspired doll line designed to empower young girls through meaningful, imaginative play.
Oz Creations, a family-run company based in St. Louis, is the vision of founder and owner Jennifer Ozimkiewicz, who left a 30-year corporate career to pursue a deeply personal idea: creating dolls that inspire girls to recognize their own strengths, creativity, and “super-powers.”
The Olympia Doll and Story Collection officially launched in St. Louis on November 1 and is now available at Imagination Toy stores as well as online at OlympiaDoll.com. Designed around legendary female figures from ancient mythology, the series brings iconic goddesses to life as modern-day super-heroines.
The first three dolls in the collection include:
Athena — Goddess of wisdom, war, and invention, celebrated for her sharp intellect, creative brilliance, and protective leadership.
Artemis — Goddess of the hunt, the woods, and the moon, known for her independence, athleticism, fearlessness, and protection of nature and girls.
Venus — Goddess of love and beauty, embodying compassion, creativity, and expressive self-confidence.
Each 12-inch doll comes with a collectible story card that introduces girls to the original myths, highlights each goddess’s heroic deeds and symbolic superpowers, and connects their themes to modern lessons for today’s young girls. Each doll also includes her animal companion and accessories, offering hours of screen-free, imaginative play.
In addition to the physical collection, Oz Creations offers downloadable story templates that encourage girls to write their own adventures. Parents and children can blend their custom tales with the Olympia stories, helping girls express their creativity and build confidence in their own voices.
